About Forget Me Not Life Enrichment 

 

Our program was born when our Founder & Director noticed a serious gap between 1 on 1 stimulating activities and residents. There were only a handful of residents willing or capable to attend the activities offered in facilities, this is true within homes as well. Caregivers have a certain time frame for specific tasks and duties and that leaves very little, to no time to provide the much needed stimulation for the residents or clients. In turn, there are more falls, injuries, hospital/ER visits, behaviors, anxiety, sleepless nights for clients and residents. This can cause the family member or caregiver frustration, exhaustion, fatigue, anger and feeling like there is no hope.

Our programs have been strategically designed by our Founder & Director to avoid these incidents before they ever happen, as well as help put the pieces back together if it has already occurred. With the services our certified providers offer, there comes, peace, laughter, joy, and less behaviors, less stress, less anxiety, better sleeping habits and restoration for both the client & the family member/caregiver.

About Our Founder & Director

​

Tara has over 16 years of hands on experience working with Alzheimer's and Dementia

clients from caregiver, activity director & memory care coordinator. She has extensive education 

including a degree in Psychology and several certifications ranging from Alzheimer's specialist,

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy, Geriatric Massage and many more. She offers 

very fun & informative trainings from the programs she has created and enjoys sharing and

inspiring. Tara also created Canvas for A Cause which is a Painting Party fundraiser that helps

fund Forget Me Not's services to clients. She teaches these paint parties in person and online.
